I bought these as my weather and range solution. I am running the TREMOR3 reticle and like the way that the system pairs through the phone to give me the dope I need. As an economical all in one system to give you dope, wind data and ranging you would be hard pressed to find a similar total solution. Getting the range finder set up with the app and using is not the easiest to learn at first but once you work out the bugs it is really fast and easy.
Used for an elk hunting trip in New Mexico. While I didn’t score a kill, I used the rangefinder every chance I had to range various openings in coverage and across canyons. I was able to range a rock face @ 1536 yards and a grassy hillside @ 842 yards so I would say it performed as well as I could expect. For the price, it’s great. I’m running a Tremor 3 in a Leupold MK5 atop a customized Remington 700 in 300 Win Mag. Thus far the solutions have been spot on out to 1000 yards at my local range.
